Private Soap Making Classes
Gather your favorite people, get creative, and make your own handmade soap!
Looking for a fun way to spend time with friends, celebrate a special occasion, or try something a little different? Our Private Soap Making Classes are a hands-on, two-hour experience where you’ll learn the basics of cold-process soap making and create your very own batch of handcrafted soap.
Private classes are available for groups of 4–6 people, making them perfect for birthdays, girls’ days, bridal gatherings, team outings, or simply a fun day with friends.
What to Expect
You’ll work alongside Darcy in the Rough Cut Soap Kitchen and learn how handmade soap comes together—from combining the oils and lye solution to creating your own custom scent and adding natural ingredients.
You’ll get to participate in every step of the soap-making process in a safe, controlled environment and leave with the knowledge to appreciate—and maybe even make—your own soap at home.
Once your soap is poured, it needs 3–5 days to harden before it can be cut. Rough Cut Soap Company will handle the cutting and curing process, so your finished soap will be ready for pickup once it has completed its cure.

Email Darcy at Darcy@roughcutsoap.com with your preferred group size and a few possible dates. We’ll work with you to find a date that works and create a private booking listing for your group. Once the class is scheduled and confirmed, each guest can sign up and pay individually.
