Hey there! Are you a fan of natural skincare products?
If so, you'll love our upcoming Cold-Process Soap Class! This is your chance to dive into the world of exfoliating bars. Plant-based soap with amazing moisturizing ingredients will give your skin the TLC it deserves after a good scrub.
During the class, you'll get to add all the ingredients, saponify them, and add natural additives in a safe and controlled environment. Once we've poured the soap, we'll need to let it harden for 3-5 days before we can cut it. But don't worry, Rough Cut Soap will handle all the cutting for you!
Now, here's the catch: cold process soap takes 4-6 weeks to cure. That means you'll either need to arrange shipping or come pick up your 3 soaps at our shop on Main Street in Carlton, Oregon. Trust us, the wait will be worth it!

Here's what will be provided: eye protection, gloves, aprons, and all soap ingredients. Each participant must wear closed-toed shoes, a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and tie-back long hair.
A Cold Process Soap class participation waiver must be signed by each adult attendee. Students between 8-16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult due to using a covered blender with complex ingredients.
Just a friendly reminder that for each class, the location may be different, so be sure to double-check where it is before heading over. Also, it's always a good idea to arrive 5 minutes before class starts to get settled in.

REFUND POLICY
Returns are available if initiated within 10 business days of receipt, if all items are returned in their original condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns due to damage after delivery will not be accepted. If items are damaged during shipping, they will be replaced at no additional charge. Pending—unfulfilled orders may be canceled without penalty.
Absolutely no returns or cancelations on Private Label or Custom projects. White Label and Wholesale orders our standard return policy applies.
SHIPPING POLICIES
Rough Cut Soap Co. accepts orders 24 hours a day, every day of the week. Orders are processed in the order that they are received. All orders are shipped from our location in Carlton Oregon via USPS. Rough Cut Soap Co. ships to all 50 U.S. states and follows the standard methods available by USPS. Standard processing time for orders is 1-4 days with a priority ship lane of 1-3 days depending on where you are located.
We currently do not ship to APO or FPO address. Orders that contain a different shipping address from billing address may be subject to review, in which case the customer will be contacted. This can delay shipping time.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
- If the package shows delivered to your address, but is missing you must report the lost package to us within 24 hours of the marked 'delivery'. Once you have reported your lost package, we will launch an inquiry with our carrier about the lost package and attempt to have it recovered. If the carrier declares the package to be a complete loss, we will reship your order to you at no charge if stock is available.
- We are not responsible for packages that are delivered to a wrong address due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by customer. We do not take responsibility for lost or stolen packages if the customer chooses to have their package shipped to a third party carrier - transport or courier company.
DAMAGED PACKAGES
- Damaged packages are very rare but in the case you may receive one, we ask that you contact Rough Cut Soap Co. within 48 hours of delivery confirmation to report any damages to your product. We handle damage claims on a case by case basis. We are not responsible for damaged packages. We pack and ship our products neatly and securely - always and rarely inquire problems. We will handle filing a claim on your behalf and if we feel this was a packaging mistake on our end, we will gladly reship the damaged products free of charge.
